If you’ve been keeping up with trends in tech or been a constant reader of ratedmobile, you would know that the latest bad boy from Samsung is the Galaxy Note 7. You can catch up here. Now, there is an upgraded Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Anyways, the base model has a RAM of 4GB which is plenty when you think of it. But, as they say, there is nothing like too much RAM, right? – actually, I just made that up ;). Let’s get back on track here; Samsung has officially announced an upgrade to the Note 7’s specs.
Basically, on the surface they look alike. The difference comes on the inside. It will not just have more RAM, it would also have more ROM.
DETAILS OF THE UPGRADED SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7
- More RAM: This is the major selling point here. The device is reported to sport 6GB of RAM! No, it’s not the first of it’s kind but there is something else that makes this particular device unique. We’ll get to that in a second.
- More ROM/storage: Not only is there going to be more space for your apps to run on concurrently, there will also be more space for you personal files. This variant is going to be packed with 128GB of ROM.
The best part is that the difference in prices between this version and the base version is about $100. Not a bad bargain, am I right?
Now the catch. Of course you should have seen this coming. This Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on steroids will be limited to the Chinese market only. Downer, yeah? Why Samsung did this is still a mystery but, hey, you could always import, right?
In my opinion, they should have made this super device available to any and everyone. But, no, they just had to limit it to China! Dammit, Samsung!
