Opera, from the days of Java has been one of the most used browsers due to the fact that it reduces page sizes and loads them in reasonably less time. But, as time went on, people started looking to other browsers for their web surfing needs when these needs were no longer just web surfing; when multimedia streaming and download was now highly in demand. Take UC browser for example, many people use it just for downloads(myself included); but now, Opera has decided to get their shit together(pardon the grammar) in this new update and they have decided to include the option to download videos, and of course watch them whenever you may please – even when you’re offline.
It as simple as:
- Clicking the play button;
- Waiting for the download option to pop-up – similar to IDM
- Then click on download;
Voila! you have your video for whenever and wherever it best suits you to watch.
The important thing to note here is the fact that this feature is available in the latest version only. So, head on to your respective app stores, update Opera Mini and start downloading those videos you’ve so wanted but just couldn’t get – well, till now!
