This news should have gone all over but for you who don’t know, Infinix Note 2 X600 has started receiving OTA update of the new Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow. There has been ways to actually get the Android 6.0 OS into your Infinix Note 2 x600 before due the announcement or update from Infinix stating they are testing the Marshmallow OS on the infinix Note 2 device and the require more tester for the update.
Earlier this year, we also shared how the Infinix Hot 2 x510 got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and how to get it quickly
Now the testers will have to flash their devices (Infinix Note 2 x600) before the could install the Custom ROM which is the Marshmallow update and the procedures of the process was explained in the Infinix forum page. But some safe users of the Infinix Note 2 wanted a more safer way of getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update than flashing their devices.
So, I am happy to announce to you that the Safer method of upgrading your OS to Marshmallow 6.0 for infinix note 6.0 is now available in a (OVER THE AIR) OTA update from Infinix, the update which will roll out slowly and in due time will cover and will be available on all the Infinix Note 2 x600 devices.
The new OS update (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) which will be also based on infinix’s XUI will come with some new exciting features, updates and also fixes of bugs, below are the new things or features your Infinix Note 2 will get.
- Device will upgrade to android Marshamllow XUI 1.N.3.0
- XACCOUNT registration added to startup guide.
- Screen Record upgraded to V1.0; record toggle added to notification bar.
- Fixed issue where front camera cannot be accessed by non-system apps.
- Added video call (only usable if SIM card supports this function).
- Fixed one-hand mode malfunction
- Fixed issue where Direct Call widget does not display contact avatar.
- Removed pin number notification from pulldown bar when Mobile Anti-Theftis activated.
- Fixed button overlap with “Just once – Always” and “Home- Back”.
- Battery percentage added to pulldown bar.
- Added quick wallpaper swap for enhanced customization.Long press theIdle interface, select a key switch wallpaper from the widget
- Added Xshare function with QR delivery.
- Optimized communication module interaction and visuals.
- Optimized system stability and performance while fixing other issues.

none for now, I feel the update was or has not been properly optimized, Infinix might send an update soon… lets be patient
