The old and popular Telecommunication giant NITEL/MTEL formerly owned by the Nigerian government before it was sold to the NatCom Development & Investment Ltd (NatCom) is BACK! But with a new name which is Called NTEL.
The company has been doing some testing in Lagos which was successful, the first testing that was performed was the first on-net test data call in Lagos on Monday January 18, 2016 which was followed by another test which took place on the Thursday February 25, 2016 the first Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) call.
With a massive comeback into the telecommunication industry, NTEL is going to launch a 4G/LTE advanced mobile data service in three (3) major states in Nigeria which includes (Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt) more cities will added in due time and also NTEL has even users the rights to reserve their potential phone numbers under their network for free, so if you are lucky you might get a awesomely sweet and easy phone number.
Trust me after hearing this information, I rushed to the site and there were two options when it comes to reserving of numbers, they are “Generate a random number through the click of a button or reserve up to 5 numbers by choosing the numbers and checking for their availability”
I tried attractive numbers but all were taken, I tried for several minutes and out of frustration I giveup! but later tonight I tried the Option where the site will generate a number for you and I got a sweet 0804000— (classified info 😉 lol).
So why don’t you just visit the NTEL Website and reserve your cool numbers now, the reservation which will be done online only between the 12th day of March, 2016 and 12 midnight on the 31st day of May, 2016. So hurry now and reserve your NTEL phone numbers now!

This article was marked as posted on the 8th of March 2016, and the writer states he reserved a number online. Later in the article the write also states that online reservations open from the 12th of March 2016. Could someone explain the difference? Thanks!

Yes, I was able to reserve my number before the opening date… What am thinking was that the portal for number reservation was opened before the opening date.
Try it now and get your number and lets hope we do get the number reserved.
thanks

Thanks for the explanation. I had been trying it since yesterday and works every couple of tries, just been trying to make up my mind which ones to get. Some special ones have been taken but still a whole lot left. Pretty impressed actually.
