The iPhone 7 will be Apple’s flagship phone for 2016, and following tradition, it should be announced in September. Although the final release date is still many months away, that hasn’t stopped the rumor from making people crazy over the upcoming iPhone. We’ve already read and heard rumors that the new iPhone will feature big design changes, with an all-new D-jack headphone jack, waterproofing protection and an eSIM (quite similar to Apple SIM).
The screen is also commanding a whole lot of attention. Rumor has said a lot of things, I’ll iterate some below
- A bigger screen
- A curved edge?
- Edge-to-edge display
One thing we can say most certainly is the fact that the new iPhone is going to be a whole lot faster – Apple has always done this part right. Well, when a device rocks an A10 processor and embedded M10 motion co-processor, plus 2GB of RAM, what do you expect?! The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will likely be unveiled in September 2016, potentially alongside a third iPhone – and the fourth this year.
One more thing we cannot be wrong about is the fact that it is going to be pricy! Following Apple’s trend and the current specs this thing is rumored to pack, we can make an estimate of about $700 at least for the base model – 16GB or 32GB depending on what Apple has planned. Tim Cook has said unequivocally that this phone will have people asking the question
How have I been living without this?!
We don’t know what ace they have up their sleeves but they sure are confident that it will blow customers away. Is it possible that we might have that 2005 revolution again? Well, it is Apple after-all and there’s not telling what they can do. WWDC is around the corner with big announcements to be made, so stay tuned!
